RESULTS OF

’’KOTINOS 2017’’ COMPETITION

The Scientific Society of Olive Oil Friends’ FILAIOS and the Steering Committee of the International Competition for Packed Branded Extra Virgin Olive Oils KOTINOS 2017 are in the pleasant position to announce the results of this year’s Competition which was organized in Athens, on March 3 & 4.

It is important to point out that despite the serious quantitative but mainly qualitative problems of the current crop year the quality level of the oils which entered the Competition clearly proved that greek extra virgin olive oils appear even during difficult times with exceptional organoleptic characteristics.

We take this opportunity to kindly thank all the participants in the Competition, to warmly congratulate the winners and to renew our rendezvous for the KOTINOS Competition of next year 2018.

The prize award to the winners of the Competition will take place during an event to be organized by FILAIOS on Sunday, March 19, 2017, from 16:00 to 18:00, at the Metropolitan Expo Center of Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport), in the context of the Food Expo Greece 2017 Exhibition.
